Okay, I'm back from distractions, etc.  I think I'll have time to play now.  Zero bugs or anything like that so far, it's a lot of fun.

One point though, I do feel like my characters are maybe too good, between the double shocks, the capture and health.. is this just a temporary power rush before I get massacred??

Anyway.  At the returners hideout, currently.

:edit:  Now I remember, I had one thought.  Is Shock based on weapon power??

Unless it's been changed, it's basically a free non-elemental Fire/Ice/Bolt 3.

Mmm, Okay.  Then nevermind, I was going to say the Lucky knife is overly good in combination with Shock, but I tried it out and it didn't affect damage, so I'm sure you're right.

Moving on to Locke's adventure, The octopus was a joke.  Two Healths > Octopi

Picked up Celest, got out.. Stole a disruptor from the Tunnlr guy.

LOL.  Equipped disruptor onto Shadow for now, who counterattacks to one-shot kill almost every enemy.  Amazing.  My luck with drops has always been amazing in your hard types, JCE

Okay, just got Cyan.  Acquired a total of 22 Cutlasses from the generic soldiers, used Subwoofer/BaneBlaster to kill them all, and finished them with a thief knife capture to steal a cutlass, and get 2 more at the end.  Stole a 'learn ice' from the general, back to Shadow and Sabin.  :banonsmash:

:edit:  Oh wow.  Even more amazing than the disruptor, if Shadow equips the thief knife, he gets four captures.

On the ghost train, I have since moved Ninja/Thief to sabin, Shadow pretty much remains dead on the floor stripped of equipment.  Cyan mass confuses, Sabin pillages and rapes whatever doesn't kill itself, no one gets hurt.

Wow, you made Kefka a lot more difficult than he originally was.   :isuck:

Wiped me once, dealing 1000 damage to all characters.  Reset, came in with a recently stolen Mirror Ring and killed him with Locke alone.

The Ninja suits are increeeeedible.. I'm guessing I'm going to have to unequip them eventually, considering their early game stats... But I don't want to.  xD  Offering effect is sooo cool, especially since with the thief knife everyone has a 4x capture.

I'm not surprised, at all.  Lol.

I feel like the Offering is too good early on, especially since you can set up either 4x Capture (Thief knife) or 4x Instant kill (Disruptor) or 4x Elemental (Thunder or Rune Blade) even before you get to pick your party for the first time.. it's certainly simplified the challenge so far.

I was checking the shops in Narshe, and I was shocked to see "Learn Psych" priced at 16000 dollars... when the wizards hat, which teaches psych, was only 800.  :hmm:

I don't understand.  :blits:

It's great, it's like a fully different game that I already know how to play perfectly.   :banonsmash:

I was off at a Chorale retreat, I'm gonna get going again after I catch up on mad amounts of homework...  :bah:

:edit: Is there any reason for the learn psych...?
I just thought about it, and you could have put a secret spell on it if you felt like.  o_o

WOW.  That guy in zodo, he was intense as hell.

I wonder if there was any trick to it..  I just confused his guys with subwoofer and beat him down with everything I had, reviving like crazy.

That was some craaaazy regen.
