Actually it was all you with the breakpoint Chillyfeez! Without that starting point I still would have had no idea how to approach the issue.

That is almost definitely how it would work Pinkpuff. The way of having a single subtract byte instead of an index saves a lot of space. But it may be with equipment that there's a single byte in all of that, hopefully that won't be the case and each equipment section will have its own -byte.

I was looking for how Items find events, but most of my research came up blank. I thought I could use a similar method to how I found the Summon Items, but I may have to go in a different direction with that.

I was thinking... Even if you could find the -byte for equipment, wouldn't that really just allow you to change the position of equipment within the item list, and not necessarily how many slots are devoted to each type of equipment? Sort of how we are now able to change which spells are learned by the call items, but not how many...

What it would likely accomplish is the ability to alter where certain item "sets" begin and end. So say you wanted a few more Shields than Armor or vice-versa. These lists when found will likely be able to alter the range of these. Of course the very difficult part would be finding these lists. Unlike with the Summon Items where I had a point of reference, this isn't so clear without extensive searching.
