referring to? obviously, i can't read it. if there's somewhere to download that game, can someone familiar with the language point it out to me.

is that the same ff7 as in the link above? i only ask because a picture in that article from pchome looks like it couldn't have come from the same game...



i noticed the different fonts(languages?), etc. are there different famicom ff7 versions? in looking at the title screens in the different articles, it seems that 2 ff7s exist for the famicom. does the pchome article have a download link for that one?

That looks more like a mockup than anything else. Some of the screens are obviously from a FF3 hack, so it's possible that's what they're for.

I think the battle background in that shot would take almost an entire pattern table, it's clearly not tile-based, looks like someone just scribbled on it in MS Paint...

Sephiroth seems to be using too many colors too but I'm not going to check each individual tile to count the colors used.

thanks, good to know.  i don't really like ff7, but that picture looked pretty damned cool, so if that was real i was gonna see if i could track it down and give it a try. ah well, thanks.
