bookshelf style emulator interface
« on: April 24, 2012, 03:35:59 PM »
awhile back I found an emulator interface that would display box art for the games as you were scrolling through the list of games you had. I can't remember the name of it though, but it was an nes emulator... maybe snes too. I foudn something like it, but it's for mac. does anyone know the name of the windows version?

Honestly, I've never heard of this before. But I imagine the feature would be database-driven, so any emulator that uses a database to verify games could support this, in theory.

119 bugs fixed and counting.

A frontend would be better served for such an interface...

partially found what I was looking for.

I could've sword I found a front end for bsnes that was similar at one time. maybe not.

I do enjoy the crt mode in this emulator, tho I wish it had the phosphor3x filter bsnes has.

I love everything about how this looks. I admit, my nostalgia glasses are totally on.

EDIT

another shot with curvature on, but before I got the brightness settings right.

That's pretty badass actually.  Now let's get one for the SNES, GameBoy and Genesis and I'll be completely satisfied.  :)
