How wouldn't I? It's PURPLE and everything else isn't. It's also small. Isn't that what sprite editing is? What's hard is making really good monsters to replace existing ones that don't look like a dumbass with MS paint drew it.

My photoshop is taking forever to load new windows once it's open (It's always taken some time to open) and I've stopped using it (as in, I haven't been making any images) since I got Service Pack 2 and 3 (to use that new map editor hack ^_^)
Not sure if I should steal a new version of photoshop or change a setting.

I've got photoshop and imageready, they're good. But the problem is that used to work really fast. It's only (and just only) after I got SP2&3 that they take a minute to open a new window inside themselves. Opening multiples also only takes the same minute but it used to be instantly.

Here's a Bartz I pulled from FFVAdvance, and then touched up a little to look less washed out.  He could still use some improvement though (making his hair a better brown - extending the portrait to use all the space available to the right).  I wouldn't mind if someone else improved him :-)

hey guys I decided to bring this post back to life as well lolz :p

well I don't have that many mugshots just 2 in fact


this 1 is not mine but I feel was done quite well

its a Siegfried/Ziegfried mugshot

and this 1 is my pride and joy, I made this mugshot completely from scratch and put my heart into it

Vargas baby ;) I based him off of his battle sprite note the 2 pony tails, he was a bitch 2 do but I am proud of the results :)

Those are really nice, Poco! Good job on the Vargas portrait!

I wouldn't mind changing up the portraits for the improvement, since Amano's artwork doesn't match the sprites...but I haven't seen a full set of consistent, good portraits to use. Anyone have any ideas?
