The values neatly start at offset $100000+header , and each monster cramps up 32 Bytes in size. Bosses are located at offset +$2000, after the 256 "normal" monsters.
Other than location, that's exactly like the list in FF6. Come on, Squaresoft...

Silly rabbit, Trix are for kids!

Jorgur, did you consult the FF5 Algo FAQ linked in this thread?

There's more coming every day it seems. I'll clean it up a little and link to it in the top post.

Any progress on the editor?

FinalMinuet was kind enough to share what he gathered in his editor project:

The spreedsheet is Entroper's, I think..

The data is for FF4A, but the behavior is more or less the same (FF5A is consistant with FF5 as far as I can tell).

Hmm...I've got most info already, but the dumps might come in handy.

I have separate spreadsheets for FF4A and FF5A.  The FF5data.xls link is from the FF5A GBA ROM.

Do you mind if I use some info in my FFV hacking guide? Giving credit back to you, of course.

Feel free, to use it for anything you want, that's why it's posted.  :)  I appreciate the credit, and you're going to credit me, credit my friend who goes by the name of Miodhchion, for helping me figure out what most of this stuff means.  I did the ripping and guesswork, he twiddled values around and playtested to figure out the stuff we couldn't guess.
