Technically I suppose it is, but I also don't think it would be worth fixing since it would require preventing non-magic users from equipping the ring or removing its ability to teach Wall.

I agree there. However, how does Umaro avoid this? I suspect it's hardcoded somewhere...

I used the Reflect Ring to learn the spell.
The difference is the Magic command only appears at only one point in time.. the Tower of Fanatics.

It's strange to me that Regen seems to double for Imp targets... hmmm

Testing shows that this is not a bug.. seems to be normal behavior (tested with FF6).

Apparently the algo FAQ didn't cover this.  :wtf: :omg:

No, don't think that'll happen. All of the price mods are dependent on the party leader.

I was hoping for more of a general patch for this... not something added to your hack.

Before your change, there were better options available (see Rune Blade).

After your change, it's my primary weapon of choice and it's probably very overpowered for the WoB...

Its hit% should dictate that it isn't as effective as a convential weapon.  I mainly designed it for the magic user--I'd be curious to see/hear specifically how its overpowered. 

Well, it wasn't quite thought out. Right now I'm using it for pretty much every active fighter (with the Lucky Ring).

I don't use the magic user for this purpose behind of the following..

1) Still learning magic - time is mostly spent doing this.

2) Evasion is valued more since defense is not catching up. The Defense Knife is more valuable for this purpose. Fighting suffers, but when you have 2 or 3 fighters, it a real non-issue for another support-fighter-mage.

The attack power boost probably does help it a bit.. but I'm primarily put off with the nonexistant evade/magic evade bonus. If I can get the power from at least 2 fighters, I'm not willing to leave the magic user as vulnerable for that reason alone...

Think about it like this.. until you assemble a multi-mage group (a group of at least 2 mages in the party), I don't quite have a use for it.

Bah to Imageshack.. I was trying to upload an image of a bug... the little girl in Edgar's room seems to address "Krysta" instead of "Torri" in the dialog (this is the search for Terra event in the WOB).

Has the Edgar-Sabin @ Figaro Castle bug been fixed?

It is the one where Edgar is not the lead character so the discount doesn't apply, even though Edgar's dialog pops up. It has nothing to do with Sabin's presence in the party... Sabin's check is his dialog but he gets no discount at all...

Change it so that Edgar is not required to be at the head of the party to get the discount.

It seems that the dialog's check is good... the discount check is not.

Looks like someone didn't realize there's a specific space character ($FE) you're supposed to use in those names. Also, is that Broadsword (I'm guessing that's what it is) cut off in the menu or just dialogue?

It's an extra space, which you'll see in both the menus as well. The weapon name is simply "Broad ".

I was actually going to request you fix that in FF3USHT - the wrong space character issue (the FF3 Editor monster list looks awful that way).

In the item pickup of "Steel  Sword", there is actually two spaces in the message, one of them don't appear in the menus (it appears normal)... so it's a one-way issue, but a stupid issue nonetheless.
