I remember Speed Disk simply pwned whatever defrag MS had under Win9x. Win2k and later, I'm not so sure of.

Well today... I used Windows Vista Home Premium 64bit defrag.... and let me tell you, it took 4 hours on a 320 gig hard drive (essentially 285 gigs.)

This is what the Windows Vista defrag looks like...



No blue, red, yellow, whatever color Windows use to use... that's all it shows you... is that.

I don't mind Windows defrag... I think CCleaner might have a good defrag in it (it's free.)

I think it can defrag the MFT, but I'm not entirely sure.

jkdefrag seems alright... its basic optimization premise makes a ton of sense, so it's worth defragging with that overall... I think.
