You would have to turn it off yourself. I think it is clarified in the Chrome wiki page...

With regards to the Mavs, I took notice when they pwned the Lakers in a sweep. I'm no fan of Kobe or the Lakers and they had their own issues... but it's nice to see them be embarrassed. I did watch Game 4... and that was sweet.

I would've posted this earlier, but anyways congrats to the Mavs for pwning LeBron's new big 3. Nice to see Dirk+Kidd win the whole thing... but mainly that the Heat lose.  Congrats guys!

Also, congrats to the Bruins for beating the stuffing out of the annoying Vancouver Canucks. Soft teams should never drink out of Lord Stanley's Cup.

Chrome 12 has been out for a bit... with the ability to natively remove the Flash cookie-like crap on your system.

I swear this browser is the Firefox replacement... minus the lack of extensions support, but I don't rely on that stuff.

I'm not sure what you're asking for, except that you cannot make the battery consume more power unless you really want to deplete it ASAP. You can set the computer to max performance in Windows to effectively drain the battery faster.

The battery consumes as much energy as needed when the AC is unplugged... and recharges at a different rate depending whether the laptop is on or not.

The battery doesn't change really.. the power demand on the laptop can only change the battery consumption. Speedstep/PowerNow/CoolNQuiet is disabled by the power profile of the system through Windows or whatever OS you run (via the ACPI BIOS think).

With no insight or inside info, you're gonna lose. This is Gamefaqs after all.

Some rapid Gamefaqs mods hate romhacking or think it's completely illegal...

Or we can just chalk it up to "haters gonna hate"...

Final Fantasy IV Research & Development / Re: Shadowing Stat Data

Phoenix, did you kill some of the unknown bits used in the equipment data? I just need to know. I know one of the bits is the "no critical hits" one... and I believe that this change has been used in Paladin's hack. I know the Ogre Axe is one of those uses this bit (in addition to every whip Rydia can wield).

Gaming Discussion / Another FF4 Revision?
« on: May 26, 2011, 05:15:31 PM »

There's some guy that claims to have another version of FF4, which is potentially a bug fixed version of the original game, but isn't the Easytype version.

So, what do you guys think?

There's only one major bug that I can recall that applies to the known revision of FF2US (Paralysis/Sleep + Stop, causing the game to effectively freeze or get stuck in some loop).

Pandora's Box / Re: Suggestions

Well, the only hacky solution that I can come up with is trying to execute it like a Rage, but hiding the Attack Name Display... and it would probably have to be identified with a special bit...

 :edit:
Perhaps, you may want to expand the weapon graphics set to include special monster attack graphics, for using in a regular animation attack. I'm not sure how many animations would "just work" but it can be a separate type hack that takes advantage of this....

Leno, were you at one point trying to hack the wrench animation into the characters? I just remember that your wrench weapon in the demo only used the default dirk animation...

If you call massive fog the second coming of the movie "Steven King's IT", then I dunno.

Mist Dragon did not get a buff... Cecil's armor however is a little more "cursed" than normal (Darkness elemental is actually in play).

Well, IIRC a while ago, Pinkpuff was trying to hack some sort of spell multiplier for a particular HP based spell. I'm sure if you search the board, you could try to find the thread. The problem had something to do with the game not actually doing anything with the parameter...
