Chargers @ Broncos (bonus late CBS) - was interesting..
Raiders @ Texans (bonus early CBS) - lol @ Texans, particularly Schaub
Seahawks @ Giants (bonus early FOX) - that was terrible, and yet hilarious at the same time

Steelers - I think the Steelers will rebound, but it will be a tough matchup against this team...

Seahawks @ Giants

Giants - Seahawks just suck.

Jags - The Bungles win helps the Jags... I guess.

Saints @ Panthers (division)

Saints - This might be more difficult than it looks...

Raiders @ Texans

Texans - Al Davis's passing will not go unnoticed...

Eagles @ Bills

Bills - Go figure on the "Dream Team".

Chiefs @ Colts

Colts - This is one of the few shots for a win for the Colts...

Cardinals @ Vikings

Cards - Depressing game, yes?

Buccaneers @ 49'ers

49ers - Bucs are coming off MNF plus they seem to have regressed a little.

Jets @ Patriots (division)

Jets - I'm doing the reverse lock again... deal with it.

Chargers - Tebow is in high demand, but is he any good?

Packers - What the hell has happened to the Falcons?

I enjoyed some very amusing games...

CBS early: Steelers @ Texans - The game was interesting... watching the Steelers d is kinda painful and the Texans really did some silly+goofy stuff.
CBS early bonus: Bills @ Bengals - I was very amused at the outcome... although I saw the two minute drive at the end... heh
FOX early: Lions @ Cowboys - I do not know how a team like the Cowboys should lose like that... but you have 3 INTs, 2 INTs were pick-sixes, it was totally Romo's fault for really really bad decisions.

Lions @ Cowboys

Lions - Although the Cowboys are at home, losing a day to MNF and Romo will hurt a bit for them.

Panthers @ Bears

Bears - Go figure... unless Cutler manages to screw this up (or the Mike Martz, by extension).

Bills @ Bengals

Bills - Personally, I think the Bills might think too highly of themselves... but then again they face the Bungles.

Titans @ Browns

Browns - Other than Chris Johnson... there is virtually nothing special about the Titans.

Vikings @ Chiefs

Chiefs - A battle of two 0-3 teams. Go figure. It's tough to pick between these two teams...

Redskins @ Rams

Redskins - I'm not sure if the Rams are going to get better. I don't think the Redskins are that good, but you would think they are better somehow.

Saints @ Jaguars

Saints - Feels like the Titans with MJD, but in reverse (home-away teams)

Steelers @ Texans

Texans - After watching SNF, there's something wrong with the SB losers of yesteryear.

49'ers @ Eagles

Eagles - I don't think the 49ers will accomplish many back-to-back road wins... but a crippled Vick is still probably better than the 49ers... I guess.

Giants @ Cardinals

Giants - Meh to the Cards and Giants.

Falcons @ Seahawks

Falcons - A slightly weaker Falcons team is sadly still better than the Seahawks team.

Dolphins @ Chargers

Chargers - It's almost a sure bet the fish will be one of the 0-4 teams.

Patriots @ Raiders

Raiders - I'm just hoping for the reverse lock... arg. Raiders do run the ball a lot...

Broncos @ Packers

Packers - I have a really hard time imagining the Broncos winning this...

Jets @ Ravens

Ravens - This is the 2nd game of a 3-game road trip for the Jets. Jets d isn't as good as it seems, plus the Ravens can eat the Sanchise up.

Colts @ Buccaneers

Bucs - I think that's the best we've seen of the Colts on SNF... with that said... this will suck for them.

Arg... I can't say much about the Pats loss other than they sucked. Bills deserved to win it.

I'm also surprised the Jets loss @ Oakland...

How does McNabb squander a 20 pt lead.. at home even? I know it's not the same as the 21 pt lead with the Pats @ Bills game, but the Bills cut at it and had plenty of time and the Pats were on the road.

Steelers @ Colts game is interesting... so far.

Saints - I don't think the Texans defense will be good enough...

Giants @ Eagles (division)

Giants - With the status/health of Vick being unknown, the Giants should be better... then again, Eli is the only guy to mess this up.

Jagaurs @ Panthers

Panthers - First game that this team will win at home... the Jags are not doing so hot....

Patriots @ Bills (division)

Pats - I'm sure this game will be closer than it looks...

Dolphins @ Browns

Browns - It might be simply possible that the fish's season ended well before it started.

49'ers @ Bengals

Bengals - This is a tough pick given that both teams aren't really that good.

Broncos @ Titans

Titans - I don't like this pick much, but the Broncos can't really stop the run... but the Titan's Chris Johnson will need to do more... especially after that new contract.

Lions @ Vikings (division)

Lions - Not that the Vikings can't win, but that team looks pretty bad in crunch time...

Ravens @ Rams

Ravens - It's not really the Rams regressing, but it has a lot more to do with the schedule and the opponents...

Jets @ Raiders

Jets - I want the Jets to lose, but seeing how the Raiders fail last week... you can only imagine.

Chiefs @ Chargers (division)

Chargers - The Chiefs will have a really bad year... at this rate.

Cardinals @ Seahawks (division)

Seahawks - I'm still not sold on the Cards... but the Seahawks will manage to win this one, given their awful play the last two games.

Falcons @ Buccaneers (division)

Bucs - I don't think the Falcons will be able to put back the same kind of comeback on the road (especially when Vick went down).

Packers @ Bears (division)

Packers - I see a Cutler being sacked to death.

Steelers @ Colts

Steelers - I might just skip SNF altogether because of this snoozefest matchup.

Redskins @ Cowboys (division, Monday)

Cowboys - This might be interesting... but people are overstating Romo's injuries though.

Notes on some games:
Last week's SNF - very epic... it figures that Romo would find a way to choke it away
Bears @ Saints on FOX - boring
Jags @ Jets on CBS - equally as boring... Sanchez didn't look quite so good despite the score
Bonus: Raiders @ Bills - I WANTED TO SEE THE ENDING... but wow @ the game and the effort...

I would like to mention that a lot of the early games had close scores... which made it all very interesting.

Lions - I really think Cassel will regress a bit... along with this team for the year.

Raiders @ Bills

Bills - I think the Raiders have an inflated ego with that win over the Broncos... not that the Bills are great, but.. the Raiders still need a QB...

Buccaneers @ Vikings

Bucs - The Bucs will rebound... McNabb might just not.

Bears @ Saints

Saints - The Bears defense may be carved a new one...

Ravens @ Titans

Ravens - The Titans are lame in this matchup...

Browns @ Colts

Colts - I believe that this is one of the few times a Peytonless Colts team is still better than the Brownies.

Jaguars @ Jets

Jets - Is there a reason why Garrard was cut in the first place?

Seahawks @ Steelers

Steelers - I believe the embarrassing loss will wake the Steelers back up.

Cardinals @ Redskins

Redskins - I'm not entirely sold on Kolb... let alone the Redskins, but I think the Redskins have a better shot with their improved defense.

Packers @ Panthers

Packers - Why FOX is making this the premiere matchup is beyond me...

Cowboys @ 49'ers

Cowboys - One would hope the Cowboys would rebound from that dumb loss.

Chargers @ Patriots

Pats - This will be a tough grinding matchup.

Texans @ Dolphins

Dolphins - The fish are better than they looked... and the Texans are worse than they looked (I mean... owning the Colts isn't too hard w/o Peyton).

Bengals @ Broncos

Broncos - I doubt lightning will strike twice with the bungles.

Eagles @ Falcons

Eagles - Although I want the Falcons to win this matchup... the problem is that the Vick revenge factor looks strong.

Rams @ Giants (Monday)

Giants - I think the Giants will try to make up for the fail against the Redskins.

Everyone likes the Jets to win... (I think JCE would have something to say about that.)

From the games I saw:
SNF: It shouldn't come as a surprise that the team that had a lot of players on IR got REALLY HEALTHY in the first game. Streak of Thursday night openings continues with the home team winning all of the time.
Early CBS Game - Ravens pwned the Steelers hard. That didn't really shock me.
Early FOX Game - Bears pwned the Falcons hard. Falcons are probably better than they showed, but the offense seemed like last year... not that great. Then again, that defense was ripped apart... bleh to a pair of uncompetitive games.
Late FOX Game - Redskins were really surprising on defense. The Giants looked a bit discombobulated. Eli still sucks though... although that INT wasn't his fault.
Late FOX Game extra - lol @ Seahawks at failing on special teams. Ted Ginn Jr is a good special teams player.. but that's it.

Finally...

Saints @ Packers (Thursday)

Packers - Unless the Packers are still on the Super Bowl win high... I expect the game to be very competitive.

Falcons @ Bears

Falcons - I honestly don't know what the Bears see in Brandon Meriweather to pick him up. In fact, you might see that Bears defense being burned by a misplay from him.

Bengals @ Browns (division)

Browns - A really bad tossup...

Bills @ Chiefs

Chiefs - This might just be too low scoring a game...

Eagles @ Rams

Eagles - The Rams will be better prepared from last season, but I don't think the improvements will be there after this "offseason".

Lions @ Buccaneers

Bucs - These will be two interesting teams to watch... although for the Lions sake, they better have Stafford healthy or it's another toast of a season.

Titans @ Jaguars (division)

Titans - This division is pretty awful.. when it comes down to it.

Steelers @ Ravens (division)

Ravens - Although Big Ben has had some good success against the Ravens, the SB loss low might hurt here.

Colts @ Texans (division)

Texans - With Peyton out indefinitely, this is the only chance the Texans have to finally prove themselves... or become the Browns like every freaking year.

Giants @ Redskins (division)

Giants - Does Rex Grossman at QB inspire anyone? Eli doesn't either, but I don't know wtf Shanahan is cooking up.

Vikings @ Chargers

Vikings - Chargers tend to struggle early for whatever the reason... even if they are generally the better team. I don't think McNabb will be the answer, but kinda think the Lions have the inside track to the playoffs than the Vikings do... at least within this division (Packers have the edge of course).

Seahawks @ 49'ers (division)

49ers - I know the Seahawks won a playoff game last year, but Pete Carroll isn't that great of an NFL coach. I know the 49ers have had major coaching turnover... so I think there will be something to prove for the home opener.

Panthers @ Cardinals

Cards - Hard to imagine that a team w/o an established QB like the Panthers will beat the Cards... but on the other hand... who is Kevin Kolb?

Cowboys @ Jets

Jets - In my heart, I want the Jets to lose. My gut says that the Jets will make the Cowboys lose.

Patriots @ Dolphins (division, Monday)

Pats - It'll be a close game, but it's the homer in me that is hoping.

Raiders @ Broncos (division, Monday)

Broncos - I think John Fox's coaching will be the difference... somehow.

It's not hard to figure out this season... because of the lockout.

My hard guess is that you don't like McNabb after seeing him in Washington and the wary QB situation you have at the moment... which hurts after having no training camp to at least get the players familiar with the system...

I'm already projecting that your Vikings season will suck. Sorry Leno.

I'm pretty sure Aim does allow for critical hits, like Yang's Power/Deadly command. Jump is the only exception where it doesn't.

Firefox 6 is out today. I hate how Flash is crapping on my comp... 

Firefox 7, which is coming out in late September (9/27), will have a much needed improvement... reducing the memory footprint and improving performance through that. That might get me back into Firefox... but it's a kinda a little late for that. They have figured out where to release some memory for stuff that shouldn't need it (thus explaining some of the ballooning memory or inefficiencies).
