Subject Line says it all, fellas.
Anyone know of any? And don't get me started with that Joy2Key stuff, unless you want this to turn into a really long story.
:bored:

Isn't Cave Story one of those?

Indeed, I got it as part of the Humble Indie Bundle for Christmas in 2012. :)
Love me some Cave Story.

Uh, their website seems to be down for me...

That's odd. They released it as abandonware several years ago, but they seem to have removed it from their website. Try this link: http://www.netzwelt.de/software-download/6051-gta-1-2-grand-theft-auto.html

Yeah, that one works.
I tried playing it...I wasn't very good. The tank controls kind of make me mad. Why can't it be RC, like Metal Gear? :|
I smashed a Taxi into a wall at 90 mph. It was amusing. :)

And now I will take off my mask and say I am looking for the free version of Diablo 1 for PC that got released a long time ago, I thought Blizzard started offering it as a free download at one point, or some such?
I am suddenly in the mood to hear Tristram's guitar track and hack some zombies to hamburger.
edit: nvm, I find, I find! Gau find Diablo, is ok

Freedoom 1/2, MM8BDM, Harmony, Chex Quest 3, that one new doom engine game starring the hedgehog, etc. are all gamepad compatible as the source port you use it on (and almost all of them have it fully). You can run about just every usermade Doom map using Freedoom if I remember correctly. I guess that all counts as freeware.
Also Xonotic.

Street Fighter X Mega Man is freeware and can be downloaded on Capcom Unity's website. I did a game review of it on Youtube:

There was a great game from Blizzard that was released as free for DOS (not sure about consoles):

Some SNES ROMs of Rock N' Roll Racing and Lost Vikings were also released.
As for consoles, the 32X version is where it's at. Even has 6 button controller support.

Khimera: Destroy All Monster Girls
This is a great and free game probably influenced by Shovel Knight. You can play it with a gamepad just fine. Definitely one of the best freeware games I've ever played.
