Do you have Geiger's SNES9X? If you have that, and you save the ROM by going to "show hex" then it will automatically get rid of the header. FF4kster can read header or non-header.

No, but I have Tush, a Header Remover and Adder.

That'll do it. Also as I'm sure you read it replaces several Black Magic spells, but you can make those magics anything you like (I forget if the patch actually contains Sky Rave which uses Count's old routine so... no Count Routine.)

Are you sure removing the Header when there's already some stuff altered won't mess anything up?

I am certain, literally the header is just 200 bytes at the start of a rom. To my knowledge it does nothing crucial and as FF4kster is compatible with both headered and non-headered there's no need to worry.

Okay, that's good, also, I came to my attention that the Image spell is replaced? That's not good because I replaced Image myself for one of Baigan's Arts.

Hmm... I think I miswrote there, Sky Rave replaces Pin rather than Image. Still the same case, if you wanted to change that to a different spell slot (Sight, perhaps?) than you could do that by changing

$03/EA53   C9 9F   CMP #$9F   A:0501   X:05B0   Y:BDB2   P:eNvMxdIzc  - Is it Red Dragon?
$03/EA55   D0 04   BNE $04    [$EA5B]   A:0501   X:05B0   Y:BDB2   P:eNvMxdIzc - If not, jump to next Dragon Check.
$03/EA57   A9 46   LDA #$46   A:0501   X:05B0   Y:BDB2   P:eNvMxdIzc - Load Sky Rave into A.
$03/EA59   80 25   BRA $25    [$EA80]   A:0501   X:05B0   Y:BDB2   P:eNvMxdIzc - Branch to Spell Finding Routine.

And taking...

$03/EA57   A9 46   LDA #$46   A:0501   X:05B0   Y:BDB2   P:eNvMxdIzc - Load Sky Rave into A.

And changing that to...

$03/EA57   A9 46   LDA #$17   A:0501   X:05B0   Y:BDB2   P:eNvMxdIzc - Load Sight into A.

To find this in ROM just crack open a hex editor and search for C99FD004A946 and changing the 46 at the end there to 17 and you should then free up Pin's slot again.

Hmmm, might not use this after all. However, I MIGHT use the Geomancy hack you made.

Okay, I decided that I'm also making Edward NOT be completely useless.

PS: I went on the thread with the Geomancy hack, and I clicked the attachment to download the patch, and it didn't work.

Likely because all attachments broke after the forums originally went down, here you are then...

Thanks, now, I'm having a slight problem with Baigan's magic list: It shows up as Ninja instead of Arts in the Magic Menu.

That should be rather easily fixed by going to FF4kster and changing the name of Ninja to Arts.

I already changed the name of the command though. What else do I need to change?

Ah, do you have the newest FF4kster? If so, go to Actors, and access "Special Set" and there you can change the name of Ninja to Arts, by pressing backspace when you're in that box.
