Romancing SaGa (PS2)

54:xx I just completely the marathon item exchange.  Go find this and I'll give you this series of quests.  Now I'm just fooling around trying to learn all my techs and build my money up.  I am close to being finished with Hawke's game, when I finish I will probably put it down and start a new game from another console.  Or maybe I'll do FFXII again?

I would hazard a guess than the SFC/SNES' processor (being 3.58Mhz) is a tad bit slower than the PSX' 33.86Mhz and 16.78Mhz that the GBA uses.  Otherwise maybe the SPC code was tweaked after disassembly to be converted to the other formats.  I doubt they just emulated the SPC700 chip for the audio in these remakes.

Yes, I was able to beat her once I went and restocked on Cure 2 potions. Those are a must. Without those, Valvalis is impossible. There were no sources of besersk, like Jce3000gt said. Right now I have made it to the battle with Golbez (Where Rydia returns) and after defeating the dolls and Calbrena, the party is pretty weak. Then Shadow destroys nearly the entire party, so once the battle with Golbez started, he killed me immediatly with the Virus spell, then killed Rydia with the Lit 3 spell. There was not even time for me to get one round in, so basically I come to the conclusion that it is impossible to defeart him unless you can have Cecil survive his first attack. That means getting through the battle with Calbrena with full hit points. That is going to be a big challenge in itself. Once I can do that, then I think Goldez willl be possible to beat.

Also I would post my screenshot from right before I fought Valvalis, but It's nearly identical to the one posted here. The only difference was the time played.

If you would like any screenshots from the current progress, let me know.


I would like screenshots of the progress yes as would others I'm sure.  I only played until you got Yang on Mt Hobs.  lol  My fault for not playing it further.  When I have the time and my life gets straightened out I will.

They fixed it.  I don't mean ad banners, I'm talking about the whole screen shows an add and a link that says "continue to gamefaqs" which means it has nothing to do with your regular ads but more like a sponsored plash screen ad.

I just realized that Rosa hasn't learned them if you don't have her leveled.  Sorry.   :laugh:

You made it further than me that's for sure.  Of course I didn't play "hardcore" into it like I normally would.  I was mainly testing for difficulty up to a point.  And Silver Apples are named HP Tab+ (as well as there are HP-Tab's and MP-Tabs too)

Fuck Squeenix.  Get ready to post all your data if you need to do it on a torrent file (PB).  Spread it all over the internet if you need to.  Stick it to them.  I'm growing sick and tired of their antics, they've single-handedly ruined the relationship of their fans.  I see absolutely no reason to purchase anything NEW from them anymore.  Just like I'll never buy a new GM vehicle after they killed Pontiac I will never buy a NEW Squeenix product.  I will buy it pre-owned as to not give them any new revenue.  THAT is how we can protest their moroicism (new word!).  I highly suggest taking assassin's suggestion and become incognito and remove all info regarding PB from forums (minus this one) and your public emails.  Make the PB forums password protected so only we real people can read the content. 

Again, Fuck Squeenix.
