I don't think I've ever seen it in FF4A, but most certainly in all of the SNES versions.

General Discussion / Re: NFL season (2009-2010), week 21 - playoffs?!
« on: March 23, 2010, 03:28:14 PM »
Not to beat a dead horse too much, the NFL has adopted a new OT rule, which will probably be dubbed the Favre rule. In playoff OT, a FG on a team's first possession will allow the opposing team to get a possession. This only applies in the playoffs and it ONLY applies to the team with the very first possession (I assume onside kicks count of that team recovers it).

Unfortunately, I don't think that would've helped the Vikings too much, but it is most notable that the Vikings were 1 of 4 that voted against said rule.

Sheer irony.

It shouldn't be hard to do...

Although, you'd have to get Rydia to learn Stop... so it may be easier than it looks.

Simply

The grinding you would probably have to do to get stuff done... simply crazy.

Though... I think one of the items summoned an Imp to attack... if I saw that correctly.

How's the system going now?

Hopefully you're not using the 196.75 drivers... ;) (196.21 is the latest stable set).

It was epic. I was hoping for the US to win, but at least it was entertaining the whole way. The ending was sad.

I don't like the Olympic OT rules... specifically the 4v4 part.

However, this doesn't really make the NHL that much better... with the massive # of teams, and a boatload of mediocrity by excess.

The video card offer (GT240) is nearly dead, as the offer stops at the end of this month (4 days away).

Two current Newegg combo options:

What you wouldd really want is a "Dog Whisperer" spell!

Manipulate the use of Rippler?
Does that really work?
How effectively? I mean, if someone has 1% block rate, does that mean the dog isn't as effective as blocking the other character do does it have a hidden block rate added?

Believe it or not, the dog blocks more than you would think.

If the speakers have an on/off switch, then power is not drawn when off. However, if there isn't such a control.. they would probably receiver power regardless of the volume setting.

That is just my guess.

If the speakers are not powered separately, then it will be drawing from the same power than the monitor does. The audio jack is just the connection, which isn't powered.

The only powered connections that exists are the USB and Firewire ports IIRC.

The concept sounds awesome, despite having no major interest in Mega Man, Skulltag, or deathmatch.

It seems fun though.

Greater power consumption is notable if the 6 (or 8-pin) PCI-E power connector is required (sometimes two of 'em). This card does not even require it.

IIRC, there's a sound card that needed a floppy power connector (one version in the ASUS Xonar series)... and then there was the Voodoo5 that required an external power brick. My probably dead ATI Radeon 9800 Pro required the standard power connector for hard drivers). No worries here.

Sounds like hidden guilt for Favre.

Some things are best untold.
