I also am planning on making a FF6 room random generator for my roguelikeifier, but I am having an issue of creating an algorithm that generates the actual walkable area for each room.

I think I found the routine you were talking about here http://slickproductions.org/forum/index.php?topic=1922.msg22998;topicseen#msg22998, but I can't seem to get it to work:

Hello, I'm posting this here because it's the best thread for my question.

Is it possible to ASM Hack the game to make it so that Air-elemental attacks like Aero (which replaces Weak/Tornado in my hack) deal double/quadruple damage to enemies with the Float status?

The battle command screen in the current version of FF4kster doesn't seem to work with vanilla versions of the FF4 Rom but seem to work with Unprecedented Crisis. For instance, using the battle command editor with the vanilla rom shows all kinds of random shit for everything, and scrolling to one of the Dummy commands freezes the editor. Meanwhile, Unprecedented Crisis has no problem and shows everything as intended.

Hello. I'm developing new spells for my hack and I don't know how or where the game determines which spells use the White Magic animation and which spells use the Black Magic animation. FF4kster doesn't have any information as far as I can tell. The closest thing I can find in that program is the Features tab with the range of spells classified as White, which doesn't fix my problem.

So I've played this up to the Misty Mountains. I beat Scarmilogne or whatever his name is twice, then tried to leave only to be spat out in the middle of the overworld's ocean.
