Frank TV

I managed to catch the premiere tonight, and I must say I was impressed with it. It's a little gimmicky, but there's enough comedy to make up for that. Did anybody else catch it?

I avoided it, myself. The guy is good at getting the vocal tendencies of people down, and the facial expressions, but there's just not much funny behind them. Didn't really find him funny on MadTV.

If you had watched any amount of the MLB playoffs, you would've been bombarded with about 16 trillion commercials for it. But since you probably didn't: TBS at 11 pm eastern on Tuesdays.

I would've wanted to watch this.. but Frank is great IMO, but he might not be that good in this situation...

Actually, I did watch a few games, if I saw the commercials I must've forgotten about them already. I don't have cable anymore (waste of money considering how much TV we watch here) so I couldn't watch it anyway.

His Madden and GWB impressions are almost spot on--even with the facial expressions as well.

He's great on FOX's NFL Sunday show in his picks segment (well, he's not that great there, heh).

He doesn't do too bad a Leno impression.

I just downloaded and watched the first two episodes and they were 75% funny.  I'll continue to watch until it gets cancelled...which it will eventually.  His Charles Barkley impression was freaking hilarious, and that movie annoucer opera segment was funny as well...and the Sean Connery one was definately good.
