Title: If You Like Damage Tiles...
Post by: Deathlike2 on March 09, 2008, 05:42:58 PM
When you cast Exit while on a damage tile, you plan on taking 2100HP damage.

This means you move/animate the equivalent of 42 damage tiles. That's a lot of insanity to be calculated.  :wtf:

:wtf: indeed, they actually count the spinning animation as movement?

That's probably the reason. It doesn't occur in FF4A though.

There's an audio confirmation for stepping on a damage tile.. so while the audio for exiting the dungeon is taking place, you hear audio cues that tell you that multiple damage tiles are being stepped on.

I used to do that on purpose because I found it humorous.

LOL, wow.  Never tried that before, but that's probably because the areas with damage tiles always seem to have a back door.
