Recent buzz on social media was sparked by a tweet from Akira Nishitani (西谷 亮), president of Arika.

Akira served as Planner at Capcom for the first three entries in the Street Fighter II series on the arcade.

These include Street Fighter II: The World Warrior, Street Fighter II’: Champion Edition, and Street Fighter II’ Turbo: Hyper Fighting. To learn more about Akira, click here.

Is it okay to tweak Street Fighter II X again?

I wasn’t really involved much, but if it’s possible, I’d kinda like to give it a shot.

Sorry if it turns into a nerf fest lol

In response to the buzz, courtesy of the Super Lore Boys channel on YouTube here, the roundtable features the following Western pro-level players:

    1. And various non-charge characters such as S Hawk, S Ken, X Cammy, X Dhalsim, and X Zangief. ↩︎
    2. Westerner currently residing in Japan. ↩︎
