Join the Bloggers Guild of FFV Central
Volunteer openings are now available to our community members.
What You’ll Do
- Work with our bloggers to pitch and cover topics relevant to our reader community.
Example Topics
- Any news, recommendation, review, guide, etc., that relates to retro-gaming or modding or either scene. In many cases, the topic itself must not be a plug of your own things, although having a signature is allowed as described below.
What You’ll Get
- Exposure on a unique, ad-free web platform focused on retro and modded gaming.
- A custom web signature where you are encouraged to plug your own socials and/or projects, including commercial projects.
- A web badge for reaching certain blogging milestones.
- A unique Discord role along with access to a private guild channel.
- Learn from fellow writers—for example, one of our writers has attended E3 as a gaming journalist.
- Your work stays your own.
Requirements
- Currently, although we are not an anti-AI community, use of AI is not allowed for the purposes of the guild.
- It probably goes without saying, but plagiarism is strictly prohibited.
- Discord membership is required unless an exception is made.
- No minimum requirement when it comes to blogging frequency. But a guideline is one post per month on average. Bloggers with no posts in the past three months are deemed inactive for the purposes of the guild.
- Note, FFV Central reserves the right to decline an applicant for any reason or for no reason.
