Writes Sora after full livestream playthrough blind of FFV Autumn Challenge on Youtube ( 1st):
Live play challenge
Recently I played FFV Autumn challenge live. Now is this game right for you.
Gameplay and boss part
Now before we begin keep in mind this is my opinion please make your own choice here, but I will tell ya this is what’s consider a hard type rom mod and what does that mean.
Every bosses in this mod are puzzle bosses so they require you to think while you battle them its not as simple as pressing A to attack, plus you will get different bosses from other FF games and music from both FFIV and FFVI although in some cases they are out of place with bosses.
The game plays the same story wise as the vanilla version just more bosses even the super bosses are more challenging then there vanilla counter parts. The music with certain bosses is sort of disappointing to me because it does not fit the boss that I am fighting from another FF game that boss is unique to that game plus the sprite choice on some of them just don’t look right like they do in there own FF game these are just a few issues here.
Closing
In closing this is a hard type mod so if you want a challenge in a game then this game is for you because it will challenge you but if your a casual gamer then this game is most likely not right for you or you wont enjoy it but I do recommend even if your casual gamer try it out you might like it in the end.
Rating of Mod
I give this mod a 6 out of 10
Grade
C+ grade.
