    ● ● Introduction ● ●

     Thank you for downloading True Story FF5r-IC.

     This patch modifies the Super Famicom version of “FINAL FANTASY V”.
     This patch is based on FF5r (created by ff5aki) and has been further modified.
     
     Previously, I released a patch called FF5r-IC.
     This work is a different modified version from that previous work.

     The truth is that FF5r-IC can only be played on an emulator called uosnes.
     We have confirmed that it works. For other emulators,
     If the expanded ROM works, you can probably play it.
     I don’t think there’s any problem, but if you don’t have any particular preferences, I recommend uosnes.

    ● ● What is the true FF5r-IC? ● ●

     ・Instead of Bartz, the main character is a green-haired female character.

     ・Since the main character is a female, there are some conversations that are a bit yuri-like.

     -Magic and items that appeared in other numbered titles in the FF series
      Many other original spells will also be introduced in this patch.
      There are many variations of magic.

     -Some jobs have been deleted and original jobs have been added.
      (Psychic, Moogle, Dark Knight, Viking, Impersonator,
      ・10 types: Spirit User, Elite Summoner, Alchemist, Astrologian, and Holy Master)

     ・Turn rarely used abilities into useful ones, or create original abilities
      By modifying them, we are expanding the range of character development and strategies.

     ・Damage inflation becomes quite intense towards the end of the story.
      You can enjoy large-scale battles with numbers flying around.

     - The major weakness system, which deals quadruple damage, makes for dynamic battles.

     - Each spell consumes low MP, making them easy to use.
      (That being said, this doesn’t mean it’s a soft game.)

     This patch uses the “disk change system” described below.
      By using multiple ROMs, you can control magic, items, enemies, etc.
      We are increasing the variety.

     - Some of the dark magic from the Game Boy Advance version has been replaced with red magic.

     There is not just one ROM used to play True FF5r-IC.
     This patch uses three ROMs due to the disk change system,

     Remove the header from an unmodified FF5 ROM.
     If you don’t know how to trim the header, this is useful.

     Obtain the FF5r140 patch and run it on a FF5 ROM with the header removed.
     Apply the FF5r140.ips patch and create FF5r140.smc.

     If you want to apply a patch using winips, you must have the latest version.
     There may be some issues, so even if you have already downloaded it,

     The True Story of FF5r-IC uses a disc change system.
     There is not one but multiple ROMs (three in this patch) used to play.
     As the story progresses, you can change the ROM you use to play.
     You will progress through the adventure by switching between these two characters.

     And so on in numerical order.
     (You cannot go back to the previous disc.)

    ■■ True FF5r-IC Specifications ■■

     ・This patch is based on FF5r140.

     - This patch uses a disc change system, so you can change the game as the story progresses.

     - The protagonist’s appearance (when walking) is the same as that of an ordinary woman in the original FF5.

    ◆ Story ◆

     In the Third World, in the Wind Temple, Fireship, and Winged Dragon Valley,

     ◆ Abilities ◆

     - The prices of some items will increase as the story progresses.

     ・There are no item icons for whip-type weapons.

     ・In order to ensure a sufficient number of magic spells and special skills, the effect of the harp has been changed.

     -Ribbons have been changed from a headgear category to an accessory category.

     - The additional effect of Triton Hammer’s Kamaitachi has been removed.

     ・Even if you are equipped with equipment that is resistant to abnormal conditions, such as ribbons, the resistance will not be penetrated.
      This patch also has attacks that cause abnormal conditions, but they penetrate resistance and turn you into a dwarf.
      If this happens, you will need to use the item “Uchi de no Kozuchi” to recover from the dwarf state.
      This will no longer be possible. (It can be removed by other means such as Esunag.)

    ◆ Monster ◆
