    Votes will be taken until about noon of January 1, 2026.

    The hack categories for 2025 are as follows.

    • Hack of the Year (MM1-6)
    • Best MM1 Hack, Best MM2 Hack, …, Best MM6 Hack
    • Best DQed Hack

    The categories for original content for 2025 are as follows.

    • Best Soundtrack
    • Best Weapon Set
    • Best Graphics and Sprites

    The Vaporized mod of Mega Man Revamped on NES has been released courtesy of clymax.

    This mod is unofficial and is unaffiliated with Capcom.

    This mod was made using binary editing in a debugging emulator. No game-specific editing tool was used.

    The base mod, Mega Man Revamped, is itself a mod of Mega Man (NES). The base mod is available on RHDN here.

    Credit for the base mod goes to Doodle Dangernoodle.

    Release Build: Features

    The release build is available exclusively on our affiliate Romhack Plaza here.

    Every Robot Master you defeat, your Buster levels up for more damage against bosses.

    This effect lasts for the remainder of your run.

    Note that your Buster damage against normal enemies is not affected.

    Development Build: Features

    The dev build is available in the clymax’s magical arcade Discord.

    You can now access the first Dr. Wily stage at run start.

    You now start or continue with nine extra lives instead of two.

    You now start with all six Robot Master weapons.

    You also start with the Magnet Beam.

    Bosses no longer have invulnerability frames when taking damage.

    Challenge Dr. Wily directly, or farm the Robot Masters to power up your lemons!

    The Bosh Rush mod of Ninja Gaiden Shadow DX on Game Boy Color has been released courtesy of clymax.

    This mod is unofficial and is unaffiliated with Tecmo.

    This mod was made using binary editing in a debugging emulator. No game-specific editing tool was used.

    The base mod, Ninja Gaiden Shadow DX, is itself a mod of Ninja Gaiden Shadow (GB). The base mod is available on RHDN here.

    Credit for the base mod goes to marc_max [YT], with NiO [YT] doing the coloration.

    The release build is available exclusively on our affiliate Romhack Plaza here.

    You fight each boss successively.

    You are no longer sent back in the stage when you continue.

    Cutscenes between stages are still shown.

    Beware that the final boss starts you at the tower climb instead of in the final room.

    Development Build: Features

    The dev build is available in the clymax’s magical arcade Discord.

    You now start each stage with max ninpo. The original version does not refill your ninpo.

    You also start each life with max ninpo instead of one ninpo.

    You start each continue with four extra lives instead of two.

    You now get unlimited continues instead of three.
