The following announcement was made by romhacker Gledson999 of Retro Jogos [Brazilian for “Retro Games”].

After many years, Final Fantasy X-2 International + Last Mission has received a fully English version for PS2.

This game features many exclusive features, such as new dresspheres, a new garment grid, new monsters, a new secret game mode called Last Mission, an extra menu that allows you to capture monsters, train them, learn their stories, and use them in battles (fully playable), an exclusive tournament with powerful monsters, and new missions.

This project was created by Gledson999 using tools he developed himself, but it also included image tools by Gdkchan and kernel text tools by Nameless.

kr_ps2 also contributed, making several important fixes for the game’s smooth operation. He was also responsible for discovering and correcting the hardware lock-up issue and the RAM limitation in the game.

  • Final Fantasy C2: Item Master Released

You can follow clymax’s projects via FFVC or YouTube.

The Item Master mod of the Final Fantasy C2 mod of Final Fantasy IV on SFC has been released via commission and courtesy of clymax.

It belongs to the new lineup of “Super Cheat” mods by clymax. They go beyond what cheat codes can typically give you. This lets you take full control of your gameplay.

A release build for Romhack Plaza is being considered, or you can get early access to the dev build on Game Jolt.

    Development Build: Features

Grind epic loot like never before! A new Drop Rarity slider puts control right in your hands.

The default slider value gives you normal drop behavior.

The next four notches let you control loot rarity. Of these, the first notch guarantees a common drop from every enemy.

The second notch guarantees a tier-one rare drop from every enemy.

The third notch guarantees a tier-two rare drop from every enemy.

The fourth notch guarantees a tier-three rare drop from every enemy. This is the highest tier of rarity.

So, what do you think? Where does Final Fantasy C2 rank among Japanese mods of the SFC trilogy of the Final Fantasy series? How do you think it compares to Final Fantasy II on the Famicom? Comment below, or come check us out on Discord.

A release build for Romhack Plaza is being considered, or you can get early access to the dev build on Game Jolt.

    Development Build: Features

No more random encounters. Hold B to get random encounters.

    Drawer items randomized.

You now start with the Final Key and four more items that act as keys.

Barrier tiles no longer bring your health below one.

Chest items randomized. Duplicates can be rolled. Seeding not yet supported.

Earned experience and gold each boosted to 64x.

Must use provided save file to run properly.
