Says alternative speedrun website therun.gg on Twitter following a blog post here on the same subject:

SRC changed their terms of use yesterday, and released a news post with an FAQ.

They make it sound like not a big deal. It's a big deal. The Creative Commons licence is gone. They claim ownership over the data now.
