  • SSF2: Pulverized Released

You can follow clymax’s projects via FFVC or YouTube.

The Super Street Fighter II: Pulverized mod for the SNES has been released courtesy of clymax.

It belongs to the lineup of clymax’s “RPG/leveling” mods.

A release build for Romhack Plaza is being considered, or you can get early access to the dev build on Game Jolt. Our sister Discord for arcade gaming1 is available for support.

    Development Build: Features

Grind your characters into the ultimate fighters!

For each match victory you earn, you will gain one level, shown at the top of the screen.

Each character has his or her own level. Your progress carries across runs and resets!

Save-file support has been added. Character levels are autosaved in the save file.

Each level improves your attack and defense. Minimum level is zero. Max level is 175.

Currently, the attack bonuses do piercing damage, so opponent blocking does not help them.

The bonuses currently don’t apply to throws.

Going for that 1HKO has never been easier, but can you handle the grind?

To reset all character levels, go to Options and briefly change Stereo to monaural.

Only the 1P side is currently supported.

The game now defaults to the fastest speed setting of three stars rather than the slowest speed setting of no stars.

Want to see the mod in action?

So, what do you think? Which of the six original iterations of Street Fighter II is your favorite? Which port do you like playing on most?
