    (Originally uploaded Sept 5, 2011)

It took an absolutely ridiculous number of attempts, but considering that the odds are even more ridiculous than that, this is still a very lucky win.

I had two computers running, each with six instances of ZSNES on max frameskip, continually automatically initiating battles with NeoExdeath. I had ZSNES recording each one onto an external harddrive, and when I looked back and finally saw the “The End” screen, I was able to load back that video and re-record the victory, then capture it in a .avi format with CamStudio (which didn’t pick up every frame, whoops).

Gear used: Earth Hammer / Aegis Shield / Thornlet / BoneMail / WallRing

The odds of getting that many Earthquakes in one fight? Very very very low. It’s a 25% chance each time.

(Thanks to Moi-Me of the GameFAQs message boards for providing the Earth Hammer + Thornlet strategy. This was beyond crucial.)
