Hi there! In this video I describe my experience with a Final Fantasy V speed running event! I’m not a speed runner but I had a really good time. This speed running event was special as it used a modified version of Final Fantasy V called Whirlwind with many crazy changes to the game.

The video review is below, so check it out!

    1. Editor’s note: FFIV – Ultima , FFV: RPGe, and FFVI: T-Edition were, by the editor for this post and on behalf of our community, added as putative mods of like caliber as those recognized by FF6 Hacking, to round out the list for publication, bringing the total from ten to thirteen.
      * Asterisk denotes solo project. ↩︎

Under consideration in the future may be FFV: Heroine Trilogy, FFVI: Rachel Trilogy, and FFVI: HEaLE.

FFVI: Reimagined is by the same author as Filly Fantasy, and only an author’s first eligible work is listed in the table.

For achievement hunters, check out our selection of achievement mods for FFVI hacks, with FFIV-V possibly on the horizon, all courtesy of our contributor solidification. They include many of those on the list, and you can access them here.
